Considering the lack of authorised facilities in the state of Kerala to impart training in foreign languages, Overseas Development and Employment Promotion Consultants (ODEPC), in collaboration with Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE) opened a language training centre at Inkel Park, Angamalyin Ernakulam district.

The aim of the government of Kerala is to build a skilled workforce: Sri. T.P. Ramakrishnan said while delivering his inaugural speech. The government has decided to set up this language learning centre with the objective of enhancing the training facilities required for those seeking employment in foreign countries. In the first phase, English language training such as IELTS and OET would be provided for the UK job aspirants in the healthcare sector.

Sri. N. Sasidharan Nair, Chairman of ODEPC, presided over the function. Sri. S. Chandrasekhar, Managing Director, KASE; Sri. AnoopK.A.,Managing Director, ODEPC; Sri.Saji Varghese, Municipal Councilor, Angamali; and Sri. V.N.P. Kaimal and Smt. K.P. Beena, ODEPC board members spoke during the function. Sri. S.S. Saju General Manager of ODEPC expressed gratitude to the gathering.
