A really happy news for for Nurses looking for UK NHS jobs. UK prime minister has abolished the I H S payment for overseas NHS staff. Currently all healthcare staff need to pay an amount of £400 for one year as Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), and for 3 years a total amount of £1200 needs to be paid at the time of visa application. This surcharge is currently paid by non-European Economic Area (EEA) nationals coming to the UK for longer than six months. The new decision to abolish this payment will be a great relief for nurses.
