Essential Qualification
- Post-graduation in Management/ Retail Management/Strategic Management or Equivalent)
- Engineering graduate with experience is good
Mandatory Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a retail buying role.
- 5 years of cross functional leadership in Retail.
- 5 years of experience as a retail food and grocery buyer
Preferred Experience
- Overseas experience in Retail food and grocery.
- FMCG Experience is preferred
Job description
- Should be able to introduce fresh, modern and efficient process, procedure and key performance deliverables in the buying role.
- Experience in developing supplier relationships in logistics
- Experience in coaching a young team.
- Should be able to localize the offering by store customer and analyze assortment.
- Should be able to read computer generated information.
- Be focused on professionalizing and modernizing the key role of product buying with best practice.
- Create strategic plan/direction for business growth for country operations
