ODEPC has started a new project for the FREE recruitment of Nurses to Germany, which is an exciting opportunity for nurses to get placement in various hospitals/old age homes in the Germany.
We are also providing FREE German language training as part of this project.
To make awareness about this programme among the nurses, ODEPC plans to conduct state level campaign, which will be inaugurated by Shri. V Sivankutty, Hon’ble Minister for Labour, Skills, and General Education, Government of Kerala, in a meeting presided by Shri. Antony Raju, Hon’ble Minister for Transport, Government of Kerala, on 22nd March 2022 at 10 am at Hotel Apollo Dimora, Trivandrum.
Representatives from DeFa, Germany, Shri Harikumar C, Councillor, Thampanoor, and senior Government officials will also address.
The meeting is followed by FREE Seminar for the Nurses, to make awareness about the opportunity. FREE seminars will be conducted at Ernakulam, and Kozhikode also.

- March 24, 10:30 am at Hotel Renai Cochin, Palarivattom, Ernakulam
- March 26, 10:30 am at K P Kesavamenon Hall, Rajaji Road, Kozhikode

About the Program
This opportunity is for the nurses having a diploma or graduation in nursing and under 40 years of age. The attraction of this project is that it also offers free German language training. The first 50 candidates who participate in the offline training will get a monthly stipend of around Rs 10,000* and remaining candidates will get Rs.5000* as monthly stipend (conditions apply). Those who pass B1 level in the first attempt will get 350 euros and those who pass B2 level in the first attempt will get 400 euros as reward. Another feature of this scheme is only 6 months experience required to participate in this program. The project is being implemented in accordance with an agreement signed between ODEPC and the German agency DeFa. Those who succeed in the B1 level can enter the job as an assistant nurse in the health sector in Germany. Once the B2 level is passed they can become a registered nurse.
A Registered Nurse in Germany can earn between 2450 and 3300 Euros per month. In Indian Rupees, it comes around 2 to 2.5 Lac /month. Nurses are also eligible for other incentives and overtime etc.
