As part of doing a state level campaigning of our FREE recruitment drive to UK, ODEPC conducted a free seminar for Nurses on 20th November 2019 (Wednesday) at 3 pm at Hotel Apollo Dimora, Thampanoor, Trivandrum.
Hon’ble Minister for Labour and Skills, Shri. T.P. Ramakrishnan, inaugurated the event and Shri. V.S.Sivakumar, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly presided over the function.
The Hon’ble minister announced that the Government will conduct campaign all over the state which will be helpful to the nurses, who have six months work experience in both public and private sector to gain knowledge and international certificate.
ODEPC Chairman Shri. N. Sasidharan Nair delivered the welcome speech. Representatives from Health Education England Mr. Ed Rose and Wayne Bendelow delivered speech about opportunities for nurses in UK and responded to the queries of nurses. Dr. Latha R, Joint Director of Nursing Education, Government of Kerala and Dr. Saleena Shah, Registrar, Kerala Nursing and Midwifery Council were also present at the session.
Shri. Anoop K. A, Managing Director, ODEPC, delivered the vote of thanks.
A seminar on “Overseas Opportunities for Nurses” was presented by Shri.Saju. S.S. General Manager, ODEPC after the meeting.
